"Yet another of the new things we have at Reedy Fork Farm is a new feed bagger. Since the bagger has been installed and put to use by the mill our bagging time has been cut dramatically. It now only takes 1/4 of the time than it did when we had to fill the bags manually. Three men can bag 1 ton of feed in 12-15 minutes. As you can see in the videos below, first, the bag paper bag is clamped on the the machine that disburses the feed and fills the bag to the specified weight – which for us is 50 pounds. The paper bag is then unclamped and dropped on the conveyor belt. A second person straightens and closes the bag to allow the machine to sew on the tag – and to sew the bag closed. Finally, the bag is taken off of the conveyor belt by the third person and stacked on the pallet – ready to deliver to you! https://www.youtube.com/embed/hHOXYqhgbOY https://www.youtube.com/embed/oxpZokaIOCI https://www.youtube.com/embed/HYYKkEAtFDw"
