"Do you know the difference between dirt and soil? Dirt is just little tiny pieces of rock and silt. It doesn't have nutrients needed for plants to grow and thrive. Add organic compost, and dirt literally comes to life and becomes soil.
Truth is, you probably don't have any plain dirt in your garden. But the soil that you have may not be providing the minerals and microbes that your plants need. That's why we offer a soil sampling service for you. Essentially, you bring us a bag of dirt - er - soil, and we send it off to our agronomists for an evaluation. They'll analyze it and give you recommendations on what to add to your soil to make sure your pastures, gardens, and fields are the very best for your plants and animals.
Each soil sample is $20. You can drop by and pick up a kit, or simply bring us a zip lock bag with your sample.
