"Imagine dining on fresh produce, grassfed meat, artisanal breads, craft beer. Imagine a meal where everything you eat is sumptious fare that prepared by some of the very best chefs in our area. Image a menu where everything is locally grown, organic, and GMO free. Imagine being able to share an evening dining and talking with local farmers, food leaders, artisans, and other like minded friends. You're imagining the Farm to Table Midsummer Night's Feast on September 29th in West Asheville. Sponsored by the French Broad Food Coop, Organic Growers School, Hickory Nut Gap Farm, Green Sage Cafv©, RAD & West Asheville Tailgate Markets, this meal will be something people will talk about for a long time to come. As if the food and company weren't enough, this dining experience will also feature a showing of ""GMO OMG"", a documentary made by local resident Jeremy Seifert and a panel discussion with local food leader. Proceeds go to a new bulk organic animal feed project that will allow WNC farmers the opportunity to feed their animals organic food instead of pesticide laden (and often GMO) conventional feed. The meal is September 29, 2014, 5:30 pm at The Hub, 278 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC. Tickets are available here. George will be there, and he'd love to see the place filled with customers and friends of Reedy Fork Organic Farm! "
