Winter Treat for the Birds

Dried Mealworms are a treat for chickens, turkeys and ducks and all kinds of wild birds. They contain 50 percent protein, 25 percent crude fat, and seven percent fiber. All the nutrients the birds need in cold weather. Great during molting season, winter, when hens have reached their peak egg laying age, to boost protein intake, and an aid in helping your chickens mix up your deep litter system in their coop. For chickens, turkeys and ducks: 1-10 meal worms per bird. Wild Birds: mix in with bird feed. Bluebirds and Woodpeckers love them!
