"This week Carrie Kocik from Organic Valley brought two well known food bloggers for a tour of Reedy Fork Organic Farm. Anne Mauney of fANNEtastic Food and Lisa Leake of 100 Days of Real Food got the grand tour of the farm and mill, complete with a hayride, a visit to the pasture, the milking parlor, and the mill. Lisa Leake brought her family - her husband and her two girls. We especially enjoyed the girls; it's always good to see things through children's eyes. They each went home with eggs they gathered from our chickens. Our kudos to the parents for raising such polite young ladies. Cherry volunteered to cook lunch, and (if we do say so ourselves) it was delicious as always. Toasted Panini with organic chicken raised here and other Organic Valley products, Greek salad, deviled eggs from our chickens, and Cherry's famous brownies. And, of course, the girls had OV chocolate milk.
