The Soybean Roaster

"One of the things that makes Reedy Fork Farm Organic Feed stand out from the competition is that we roast the soybeans to make them more digestible for your animals. We bring in a truck that has a portable roaster on it. The roaster heats the raw organic soybeans, then sends them through an auger and they come out cool. This is important, as we found out the hard way last year, when we had a fire in one of our silos because of beans that weren't cooled enough! Truth be told, your animals can eat the soybeans raw, but we know that animals digest them better when they are cooked.
