The Piedmont Farm Tour

"The annual Piedmont Farm Tour is coming up soon and you’re not going to want to miss it! Co-Sponsored by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and Weaver Street Market, the tour is April 27 – 28 from 2 – 6 pm.  You will have the opportunity to visit over 40 farms throughout Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Johnston, Orange, Person, and Wake Counties. Throughout the weekend you can visit the farms on a self-guided tour and see beautiful gardens and animals, taste the delicious fresh produce and meats, and learn about farm life and practices. Stock your pantry with the local products available from right here in the Piedmont Triad area. Meet your farmers…and your neighbors! And the best part is that the cost is only $30 for a carload of people for *both* days when purchased in advance or $35 on site. There’s an interactive map, route suggestions, descriptions of the huge range of farms, and a link to purchase here. Exclusively for the Piedmont Farm Tour, Reedy Fork Farm will have feed and meat on sale during this event weekend only!
