Passing of Jack Williamson

"We are so very sad to share that Cherry's dad, Jack Donald Williamson, passed away earlier this week. Mr. Williamson was truly one of the greatest in the greatest generation. He and his wife Rachel had been married for almost 72 years. He was a proud U. S. Army veteran, 568 Triple A Anti-Aircraft Artillery, serving during World War II in Europe. ""Paw Paw"" retired after 34 years of service with Western Electric and AT&T and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was also a former scout leader. Jack was a member of Trinity Worship Center where he formerly served as deacon, elder, secretary, treasurer, Sunday school superintendent and teacher, and choir member. We all called him Paw Paw. He was a wonderful man, and we already miss him so very much. Please join with us as we pray God's comfort for Cherry, her mother Rachel, and the rest of the family. Arrangements: The funeral service will be conducted at Trinity Worship Center on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Darrell Cox with the family receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Trinity Worship Center, 3157 South Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215. We will be closed tomorrow after 12 noon."
